spook
Hello everyone, next week my S is in for some front end paintwork which involves bumper removal, so I'm going to take the opportunity to ask the body shop to fit some mesh to the inside of the condenser intakes. Not sure though whether to use metal or plastic black mesh - can anyone who has done job this point me in the direction of a suitable product? Thanks! Menoporsche
Plastic might not look good if it flexes. Usually Halfords or similar have metal mesh covered in plastic, probably the best solution (metal by itself can corrode where stone chipped). Afrikaner
At a risk as being his agent check out daz05 video on fitting mesh in front of condensers. Having done it with bumper on its a bit of a faff but with bumper off should be easy. The mesh listed on video is plastic coated metal so ideal for the job. Its definitely worth it!
