andygo
Try gently removing the O ring and putting it back the other way up. Or down, depending on your POV.
zcacogp
Already have done, thanks. And have spaced the O-ring out slightly with a spacer behind it and smeared some silicone grease over it all.
Ninesomething
I swapped to the 04 part after I noticed a few spots of dried coolant around the filler despite the fact that it had been changed for the blue one like yours a couple of years previously. Hasn't lost a drop since. The 04 part is black. It's also a little tough to tighten down correctly - sometimes it feels right but isn't. I'm collecting a new one tomorrow from the OPC. Fingers crossed 🤞 New cap (04 part number) fitted last night and all is well again, phew! 😁
