Gramps Posted January 21, 2022 Report Share Posted January 21, 2022 Hi All. Don't know how the rest of you guys deal with it but keeping the chrome tips looking "chrome" seems nigh on impossible. My original ones on my gen2 S were tarnished and I wasn't able to get them re-chromed as the original tips came as one joining on to the 2 pipes. So I bought some replacements with removeable tips that I could get re-chromed if need be, but they obviously soot up in no time and take some cleaning to get back to best. So I thought I'd try some of these cheapo carbon fibre jobbies off of Ali Express. £58 for the pair delivered from China in about 2 weeks. I thought they were worth a punt as my daughter was wondering what I'd wanted for Xmas, so win win, lets see how they last. Also a not that good a quality video of the sound, not that the tips made any difference :).
