Mike1960
Hi, not been on for a while, but have a headscratcher and not sure what to do. My car came with 2 keys, when bought in 2018. The one has sat as a spare ever since and has never been used. The buttons on the main key broke and I got a new body and repaired it with no problems, but used the ‘Spare’ for a couple of days while the new one was in the post. The thing I noticed is that when I put the main key in the ignition the central display shows ‘Key 1’ and once the engine is started it shows as distance to next fill up and av mpg. When I put the spare key in the ignition it shows ‘Key 2’, but once started, the word ‘OTHER’ is displayed along with av mpg. Looked in the handbook and can’t find an obvious answer. Anyone got any thoughts or solutions?
Menoporsche
Try changing the display away from OTHER, switching off, then restarting and seeing if it remembers the new setting for that key?

Thanks for that. I will give it a go tomorrow. Everthing works apart from the display, so not very concerned. There are a few things in the handbook about routines regarding the key operation. I will try some of those as well.
