Tony Daniel Posted February 15, 2023 Report Share Posted February 15, 2023 On certain roads the Macan's drivers door would rattle and vibrate. We mentioned it to dealer when it went in for warranty work on the PCM unit but was given the usual brush off that rattles are not covered under warranty. I have just had the Boxster in pieces replacing the door speakers and adding sound proofing so I thought I would have a go at the Macan. Once the door panel is off its easy to see the problem, there is a large hard plastic panel in the door (seen on the left hand side of the pic I found on the internet) that resonates when you tap it. I took this out and greased the edges but it still rattled so using some dynomat sound proofing I had left over from the Boxster I covered the panel.
