Gramps
Hi All. After battling trying to gain access to clean the MAF on my Boxster S 987.2, I was wondering, is there an optimum postion for the hood when in service mode? Do Porsche have a recomended position or is it trial and error? Anyone learnt from experience? TIA....Gramps
BBB
In the owners manual (page 168) it says to have a 60cm gap between the top of the windscreen and the leading edge of the roof.

Thanks. Will have to get my tape measure out and see how that setting is 👍
Gutley
Enough to allow you to attach the restraining strap to the front of the hood.
