'Sticky' soft-top when opening

Hi all,

Wondering whether anyone has seen or had the experience where the soft-top is 'sticky' to the body when opening i.e. the edge of the soft-top that connects to the top of the A-pillar would kind of stick to the rubber element that it rests on.

As a result when opened, it would not smoothly pull away from the A-pillar.  Instead there would be a small delay then it pulls away.

I notice this after the car been sitting for a period of time in an enclosed garage.

It's this area shown in this picture https://imgur.com/3veYmup (reusing someone else's picture - if this is yours, thank you) that I was asking about.

The above might be a contributing factor I suspect, more fun needed. Gummi should certainly help, do all my seals once a year.👍

I know! Not enough daylights during winter and haven't got some spare time during the weekend.  Its bigger brother (911) also hasn't been driven for a couple of months

Don’t know if it’s the same. But found this seems to supply from uk and ship to nz

Found one closer, in Australia, and not price-gouging which is good
