my car is Gt Silver and the script was grey and in good condition free to anyone that wants it. i do have a new grey one i can put on but i fancy going black and do the side vents black to match, i have a can of plastidip there but not sure how it would hold up to washing.

Removed the wiper scuttle cleaned and applied some Getecniq C4 all put back together looks great will see if it lasts, also buffed the boot lid after removing the script.

@detail1  love seeing your posts mate, wanted to ask you a work related question, i have a steamer and was thinking of using it on the leather seats as i think they are very shiny, any thoughts?

i would say about a year ago,my finger slipped off and my french manicure caught it 😀 was a bit upset , in my opinion the switches where both badly designed and made from Porsche, but i would say finger tip down and up

@Rooose yes mate been there done that, i got the switches and in fairness they looked well when they arrived , within a week they were marked they really need to be treated with cotton gloves or maybe i was just to heavy handed. and exspensive lesson. i did email them about it but got no reply, i think they changed how they do their process.

@detail1 that's another great job you have done, do you just go over the old flock or do you remove it before hand, your user name is perfect for you by the way 😀

Have to agree with @bally4563 on that one ,it's just to blingy ,but if you like it do it that's why there's chocolate  and vanilla

it's hard to kmow if it could be repaired by a talented dent guy i did say pull it a "little" to take the bad look off it , but if you watch some the dent guys on youtube and what they do they are amazing, dents like you think that needs a panel replaced and they work away at it.

it is really hard to tell from your pictures what the damage is like

it really doesn't look that bad, i would clip the rear valance back in and try and get a good dent guy to pull the quarter dent out a little and drive away at it

keep the faith mate you have come along way at least you know what your doing now, as for stinging your parents that would be a big no no, take it on the chin and move on, will be a bit tappety from sitting sure once you get it on the road an oil change and and a good thrash she will be grand

well that's a good days work,

i really wouldn't risk starting  the car just yet,

drive shaft nut off would be a vice job and good mechanic should have a press for removing the shaft a couple of cv boots shouldn't be to much

small tack weld should see the brake pipe bracket back on and pipe replaced

at least your rolling now
