Just spoke to my daughter who works in car insurance , tell your insurance company what's happened , no claim is being made , just for the record etc , it really could come back to haunt you if you need to make a claim in the future .

Used them on the 986 , no problems at all

Defo write it in the book and staple the receipt for the parts in the relevant page  

Low profiles wouldn't be a problem if we had decent roads ! those pot holes though - ouch 😠

Just be careful if you decide to go with low profile tyres , I found them to be so harsh I went back to 17s

Having a garage clear out and I have a 2001 soft top to get rid of , canvas is good but the plastic rear window is showing it's age , Frame is in good condition , it's in Newcastle upon Tyne , ( that's nowhere near Kent , Hampshire , Surrey etc) you want it , come and get it , can't be bothered with pallets, couriers etc , so one for the North Eastern lads ? good as a spare or to replace a damaged one , FREE to a good home ( or a not so good home ) it goes or it gets binned

I think the time has come to move on to another project , so I'm selling the Zanzibar orange , 2.7 , 115900 miles, 10 months MOT , IMS and clutch done at 107k , all the brake pipes have been replaced , Vented discs all round , Water pump ,thermostat and drive belt have been done ,  very good  Eagle F1 tyres all round , new plastic rear window fitted a few weeks ago , Hood in good condition ,  double din radio with reversing camera , very good all round condition , body coloured centre console , roll hoops , crested seats with orange stitching , orange seat belts ( original black ones will come with the car ) Royal steering wheel with orange stitching  , Open to offers around £ 7000

Whilst I don't mind paying for proper stuff I do wonder whether these exhaust straps are available elsewhere at a more reasonable price. Advice much appreciated.

Pretty sure you need them from an OPC , they have an offset washer on them to allow adjustment of the suspension settings 

Had a new plastic rear window put in , £225 , probably only good if you're Oop North ( Yorkshire / North East

I've used them in the past and found that the lifespan of them wasn't that good compared to standard bulbs
