Might have to blacken out behind the central air intake and maybe similar for the vent below the bonnet. But I could be just going OTT with this. Time will tell 😂👍

does look cool, but i couldn't live with the gap on the spoiler.  Im sure ive seen these alot cheaper than £200

Yeah its been a bit of work in progress since December,  alot of googling and a mate of a mate lending his spoiler     Biggest issue was the how to fix it and had 3 goes of the brackets and nailed it this afternoon.  We actually made one that mirrors the lower brake light so and was going to bring a wire up via the mounting bracket, but just couldnt get it looking too great then abandoned the idea 

finally fitted the spoiler i had made,    £300 total cost including paint.   Not going to say it was as easy as we planned but its not a porsche part so the mounts took a little more time this afternoon to do on the porsche spoiler brackets.   Now fits perfect.  very happy

very sexy (the car)  looking very good mate.  But you my friend have the patience of well  whats the most patient thing on earth,  waiting for the parts and then the actual fitment.  do like the look mean look at the front and the black accents really compliment it.

very nice,    funnily enough mines off for the same thing,  and PDK lever.   cant wait,  should be all fixed up for spring. 

Defo a must for me on any car whether convertible or not, well if it has leather seats.

you can unscrew the chrono without dismantling it, i swapped out the faces on mine which meant the whole thing had to come out but anticlockwise and the whole glass face will unscrew.

What you guys have been looking at is fit for the Cayman, which is why Design911 are telling you it won’t fit.  You need to be ordering the same as for the Spyder.  With the 2 adaptors it fits perfectly.  I’ve ordered the Spyder version from them in primer and it’s perfect for my GTS.

Its cheaper from Porsche,  I was quoted its about £560 for it.   Do you need the brackets on the GTS or is it just a straight swap

thats for a caymen aswell, i dindt think there was much difference when i looked but there is so they are no interchangable.

Although to be honest i couldn't stretch to the S they had at the time either & £40k, Think yours is up on their site already and at the price they have it up for it would have been within my budget if i hadn't bought my base 6 weeks ago.

Im in Rayleigh,  literally a few minutes from that there,  i bought a RS3 from them a few years back.  I did see a grey one on the forecourt a few days back

Nice car, I think silver really suits these cars with the black accents.    Im essex way and didnt see that one come up,  although I was trying to justify a Guards red Spyder the other day but I failed at man maths at school and I still have the S for now.

Yeah,  Coggleshaw really nice guys to talk porsche with them and im really happy with what they have done and treated the car.  i genuinely hate taking all my cars anyway and worry they are going to scuff a well or paintwork which i normally find that the dealerships you are just a number and dont really see the car or the owner.  Just how quick they can turn it around.

just had a major service done and MOT at a well respected indy that alot of the 911 owners use.   so had all done inc belt and spart plugs, and a replacement lower suspension arm that had some play in it and came to £883.00 .

Just as Daryl says,   its not difficult,  honestly if i can do it then anyone can,  taking the unit apart is really easy its all the wiring that takes time routing them and making sure they fit nicely. 

Took mine in for a major service and mot, heard really good things about this place that is about 40mins from me from some local guys that have 911s and so far so good,  friendly, chatty guys that have alot of porkies parked in and around the building, and know there stuff, hopefully found the place to get a serviced now.

For me yeah it really needs to be, and to be totally safe especially trying to get it into the garage I think the central would be best.

yeah pretty much as daz said,  rear light off,  wire from number plate up using a stiff wire, up and through the rear light cavity,  and you can route round the engine bay and then underneath the rubber seal for the door, honestly took about 10 mins was very easy, once you have a good look there is a nice and easy path.   

tbh im not too bothered as it was easy to do,  thing for me is its not central so im not actually using it for reversing into the garage as its slightly out lol.   I was parked up the other day in a high street a car parked close and was good to put it in reverse and you can check how close they were before going back.     tbh if you not that bothered about it i wouldnt bother other than the trick aspect sensors are better for me but i had to do it.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised as well tbh for the price of the camera.  Still not convinced that it will last through heavy wet weather but easy enough to swap out.

rear camera fitted today, very easy job, just trim bits to remove, and i tucked the wire under the rubber seals for now,  i think i'll spend a bit more on the camera.  lucky i had two, i tested one and worked,  fitted all the wiring and then the camera didnt come on.   managed to unscrew it and screw a new camera on it.   I dont think they will last long in heavy weather but i'll have a look around,  dont really need it as i have sensors but still like it.

rear camera fitted today,  very easy to do.
