Dent Devils
in 987
I have a small dimple in the offside wing. Dent Devils are coming out on Wednesday morning to make it disappear. Anyone had good or bad experience with pointless body repairs?

I had a two-hour round trip today for a work meeting. A pleasure to get out for a drive. I'll wash it again in the morning.

Taking advantage of the sunshine, I washed the steering wheel and seats with Pears soap ( as recommended on this forum ). Then applied colour lock Shwartz Black ( as recommended on this forum )to the seats. Then washed the car with McGuires NXT. All very satisfactory but I'm struggling with the windscreen. I've cleaned it with Angel Wax but it's still not right. It's either tree sap or the screen is terribly pitted. I've also contacted Dent Devils as there's a small ding in the offside front wing.

could you post a pic of exactly where these felt pads are placed?
Happy to post the pics but not sure they'll help. I can't see them, which is obviously a good thing. I used 4 of the smallest pads and fitted them to the side wall of the glass, top & bottom.

A couple of small adhesive felt pads (the sort for furniture feet etc) just under the top clips will stop the inevitable rattling.
I followed this tip and it worked a treat. Thanks.

Washed the car, then a top down drive to our local farm shop. These are the first photos of my first Porsche.
It's a delight to drive.

As a new owner I'm keen to get the inside track on these cars so I've just finished reading this entire thread. Very useful. I've bought some product, and noted some preferred service folk. Some of your cars are cleaner than they were when they came off the production line. The bench mark is high. The single common denominator though, is the enthusiasm for the way these cars drive. I'm looking forward to better weather and the freedom to drive. Meantime I'll get my microfibre cloths and start cleaning.

Really? A few months you think?
I haven't seen UK specific predictions but I think the virus is peaking in various places in Europe, I think most of this will be over in 6 weeks.
Just reading back over the past year's posts. This one stands out for its optimism.

I've glued some polystyrene to my garage walls to prevent damage to the car doors. The pain of grazing paint against breeze blocks is eliminated.
A friend attached a Ping Pong ball on a piece of string from the roof of his garage. When the ball touches his windscreen he knows he's in far enough.
Any other useful tips for garage parking?
