RBD914 v2
Just got back home having done nearly 3000 miles, 2000 of which were with the top down in perfect motoring weather! We went to Goodwood Festival of Speed then Le Mans, Chartre sur le Loire staying at the Hotel De France as used by the Porsche and Aston Martin race teams back in the old days. Then south to Pau before going over the Pyrenees to Northern Spain and Suances, just west of Santander. Roads were fantastic and traffic very light, the mountainous Picos des Europas in Spain were a fantastic daytrip drive - see the sat nav picture of the road! Here come the pics, have to say I fell in love with the 911R in white with red stripes, simply a lovely car in the metal..... This last picture of a grey Boxster was in the car park behind the Hotel De France and was travelling with friends in a yellow Lotus Evora, black Honda NSX, and a blue Morgan - Anyone on here? Topbox
Looks a great trip, just what the Boxster is built for in my book, thanks for posting. Did you stay in the Picos des Europas area?
Simon
I am just back from a similar trip in the Macan. We cheated and got the ferry to Santander and then drove back. Lovely roads, food and wine. Did see a few Boxsters and I think one was UK registered when in San Sebastián. not organised the pics though...
