I'd sooner drive it more in the sun and heat so hoofing it doesn't risk it spinning, plus I don't have to wash as much in the summer, but in the winter, it's virtually every time I take it out ! ;o) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
UkHawks Posted December 20, 2016 Report Share Posted December 20, 2016 This may not be true for all insurance policies, but I know for certain (crazy as it may sound) that many insurance T&C state that cover is invalid if the vehicle is SORN, so you may be still paying out only to find that you are not actually insured, some vehicle insurance companies offer laid up policies that you can revert to, or you may have to declare the vehicle on your property insurance, just laying up for winter is fine, but if you contact DVLA and declare a vehicle SORN a quick check is very important!
