pquadro
Hi Planning to give the car a good clean and wanted to know what are the do and don'ts / how the fellow BoXa members do it. Do you use a dust wipe? Do you use warm water? Any specific leather products? Thanks!
Rav
Gave up on chamois leathers on the body of the car years ago, so use a chamois soaked in warm water and wringed out on the car interior. I use Auto Glym Leather cleaner and conditioner on the seats and the door cards - i have full leather interior I need to get some black dye to sort the seats out next though. Thanks I heard about auto gly but also Leatherique, ever tried that one? What's your process? One pass and let dry for a bit, then wipe?
mmolloy01
I use Dr. Leather and a micro fibre cloth. i find it very good, cleans well, no stickiness afterwards, smells nice. i have I used it on the plastics too, and it does a good job there too. Greenman
Depends on condition of leather, if in reasonable condition they should be sealed and just require a vac and wipe down with mild soap and water. In general leather conditioners should only be required on worn seats.
