topradio
It will most likely be the battery. Easy to test, jump it from a known good one and if you get the same result then it could be the starter motor. If it turns out to be a poor battery it's possible that the alternator could be faulty and either not charging it or even draining it while parked. Nobbie
Other possibility is a earthing problem which will cause it still to turn over slowly even when jumping it on the battery terminals. Seems likely to be the battery though, when was it last changed?

Could you try measuring the battery voltage when you try to start the car? Places like Kwikfit/Halfords will test the battery for you and you then get to laugh at the quotes they give you before buying off the Internet? mike597
Sounds like the battery but as advised no cost to get it tested first.
mikefocke
Battery voltage test. One at 3000 RPM and then with ignition off and key out. Load test battery. Check battery posts for tightness, corrosion. Check grounding of negative cable. Those are the easy ones.
