Paul Fisher
Hi, Ever since I've had my Boxster the clock and oil level has not been visible i.e bulb gone. I took the dash pod off and removed the bulb that illuminates the trip/miles to ensure I could get the right bulb (12v - 1.5w) I ordered one from my local OPC (£7.52). I removed the pod again and put the miles bulb back in and the new bulb behind the clock and oil level only to find neither work. Have I missed something? the baron
Check your fuses, if not that its a lose wire which you will have to trace back.
Menoporsche
Did you test the old, and now the new, bulb for continuity? If the old was OK, loose wire. If both are blown, short of sorts?

If the old was OK, loose wire. If both are blown, short of sorts? Hi, the one I took out was working. The bulb for the clock was missing. I did swap the new bulb for the existing miles bulb just in case I'd done something to it but made no difference. I'll take the pod off again tomorrow and have another look. I guess it will be easier to replace the pod than search for a loose connection. Do you know how to remove the hazard light loom?
RickLS7
I had troubles with the hazard light loom too. Youtube to the rescue:
