andygo
Thinking of selling my 987.1 Boxster S, just run in with 95k on the clock. I was pretty sure all was well with the car and in particular the engine so had the bores checked out by Autofarm, probably one of the most respected Porsche indies. The wait while they did it was horrible, like having your child in for a medical test.. Anyway, all deemed fine, pix (and a chunky bill) to prove it. I just thought it would be a good selling point, but now I have just taken delivery of a brand new Golf R, my wife wants to keep the Boxster.. It was her idea to sell it, lol! T24RES
Good news, Autofarm have a good rep. Well if the boss says keep her then who are you to argue? ?
andygo
Yeah, I know. Ive got a £32k Golf up the drive now though. Really nice to drive, but sooo dumbed down. Both my wife and I agree, every time you got into the porker it was an occasion, made you feel special, a blinged up VW not quite the same. Having said that, its bloody fast. Lonewolfgjp
Hopefully you can keep both, the Golf R is a very quick car but I agree a bit souless as is the case with most similar car's. There are plenty out there quicker than the Boxster but there's few out there that look and feel better to drive. Luckily you've got both?
