Virglas
Will be laying the car up for the winter at the end of the month. Going to be storing the car outside under a Porsche outside car cover. Anything I need to be wary of?
mikefocke
Some thoughts on how I laid up my Boxsters. Here. Things to pay attention to: 12v battery (maintainer). Tires flat spotting (inflate and insulate). Engine oil acid (Change right before storage.) . Gas deterioration (we use Stabil). Given your climate, humidity in the cabin (desiccants). Chafing between the cover and the paint on the car because you put it away dirty Clean and polish). Mine survived 5 years of winter hibernation just fine.
