RBD914 v2
On 9/25/2018 at 10:52 AM, Jonny A said: Well I have a Velar for the morning and whilst it’s lovely to look at and a nice place to sit it isn’t exactly a sports car. Terribly cumbersome even in dynamic everything mode. Not for me, which is a shame because aesthetically it’s an attractive proposition. Might wait for the New Macan. My thoughts were exactly the same as yours about the Velar. I also considered a Macan, but then discovered the SQ5 - similar performance for £20,000 less, with far superior interior specification and technology. The Audi virtual cockpit is a work of art! I've just come back from a 2,500 mile tour of Europe in it, what a magnificent car, great performance on both the motorways and twisty mountain roads. It has plenty of power and handles really well for a 4x4, yet does 30 mpg, not bad for a 355 bhp V6 turbo petrol engine hauling nearly two tonnes! Try one, you will be surprised! These were taken at the top of the Stelvio Pass last week.
Jonny A
Pretty impressive and one of my colleagues has one so may need to blag a drive. Not much of an Audi fan historically but who doesn’t like 355 bhp!! Might have to “find” myself at an Audi dealership over the next couple of weeks. Happy Days
I rode the Stelvio both sides on a bike many years ago. 4 hours up, 20 minutes down.
