Frankp2112
Hi, I had to jump start the car as the battery was low - I had not used the car in about 6 weeks so that's why the battery was low. Now the stereo wont start - it show the word on the screen Porsche then flickers and looks like its restarting all the time. I have removed the fuse to try and see if that resets it but no luck Any suggestions - or have I fried the head unit - its a standard cdr23 Thanks Frank
Pinewood
How long did you remove the fuse (and power) for. Let it drain for at least 30 mins and try again. I can't imagine a jump start across the battery would fry the headunit unless it takes power directly from the battery with no inline fuse. Menoporsche
Frank, do put something more clear in your My Ride so other questions can be answered more accurately. 986, model year, engine size will help.
