Apparently common dash fault.  Often more prevalent in cold weather. 
 

Some say “goes away when it gets warmer” 

others “wiggles the wires on the back of the dash”

and then there’s “sold a kidney and bought new clocks” and “ paid a bloke on eBay to repair it for a tenner”

seriously. I think there at some specialist firms out there who heat up the right bits to the right temp to fix what is essentially dodgy connections deep in the clocks but otherwise you either live with it and hope it goes away or swap out bits for ££.
