Jack/Stand points

987.2.Does anyone have a clear description and/or clear pics of any other jack points other than the obvious ones on the front and back cills.I would like to jack it up and put it on stands

if you check this pic you will see there is a central point at the rear that can be used to jack up and use axel stands under the side points. your car will not have the red insert that is shown here but you can still use this point just use some rubber /carpet or similar on top of the jack.  I’m not Sure it it is an approved point be Porsche but it is widely used and I have heard of no issues with it at all.

Don't forget that if you jack using the normal rear points the front lifts too, allowing you to place axle stands under the front jack points, like this

a word of advice - dont be tempted to use any of the very solid looking suspension arms at the front - I did this once...and it cost me a few hundred quid in new parts!
