PDK blip

This might be an odd question but do you take your foot off the accelerator when changing down in manual? Using sport and sport plus it blips the throttle slightly prior to the gear change  and seems not to mind if you remove it or not. My thought process behind this is I ride a bike with a quickshifter and auto blipper and for upshifts on that you just keep the throttle pinned wide open but roll off for downshifts.

Does the RF blip on an open throttle? I didn’t know that, I must try it.

Yes, it is an immense piece of kit.  More GT3RS on two wheels.

Having run mine in on the road it is in track trim now as it's such a pointless road bike. Again like a GT3 on the road would be pretty pointless as it's just so fast.

Cheers! I haven’t ridden it for months because of the lockdown but I’m looking forward to getting out on it as soon as it’s lifted.

You and me both although I did take my '66 Bonnie to the shops the other day!

Seen Mr JWW on YouTube full throttle change loads on the GT manual cars, and rave about the little known feature.

I do whilst in manual PDK mode (usually drive mode for me) and love the crack the exhaust makes as it changes.
