StephenM
Does anyone know if it’s possible to retrofit a chronometer in a 987 ? I saw one for sale recently and was just wondering if it’s an easy process or if all sorts of additional wiring is required.
Menoporsche
The wart? I have one for 10 years, totally useless gimmick IME. Better in I think the 981 where at least it’s usually a clock. Even better would be to fit a multi function screen that could toggle through say clock, chrono, volts, oil temp... Paul P
Factory retro fit of sports chronos does not include the clock. I think in addition to wiring that the top dash pad is different, and there would be coding involved and I am not sure what else needs to be There to make it do anything. On mine there is integration with the pcm and the “stick” so there is likely to be something to be done in those areas. I have read of anyone doing a retrofit.
