Rubber boot a bit split I think.

Whilst under the rear of the car earlier today, I noticed one of the boots did not look too healthy. The car was more jacked up at that side, so perhaps exaggerated the problem? I am guessing it needs changing? After my failed clutch spring replacement efforts of today, I am not going to attempt this! 
Would a decent non specialist garage manage this ok?

Can anyone post a link to the part I need to get?

Well it is an old Porsche part number if you want original parts 928 332 293 02 along with clips 928 332 257 01 and 911 332 257 00 for the individual bits or 000 043 306 44 for a kit.  The kit includes some CV grease to re pack the joint as you'll have lost some.

When I did all 4 of mine I got after market GKN kits from D911 for a third of the Porsche OE price.  Now some will tell you that I can't be done without removing the shaft and half the suspension bolts, but it can, however you have to take the inboard CV joint a part to do it and fi you're doing that you'd might as well get two kits. Took me most of a long day when I did mine but it was the first big mechanical job I did on the car so with the experience of doing it and rebuilding the rear suspension now probably about 2½ hours per shaft including stripping and repacking both inboard CV joints as well based on trolley jack and axle stands.  Much quicker on a ramp I'd reckon.  If you think you need to get the drive shaft out, think about how you are going to undo a 20 year old axle nut that was lightened to 345lb ft and has nor 'aged' into place....

Possibly worth point out that if one has gone the other three are probably not far behind even if they are 7 or 8 years old and the car has been little used as I found out.  Changed 7 years before I bought it, all 4 were split when I purchased it, plus if you are doing one on one side it is very little work to do the second one on the same shaft and inners are a little easier than outers.

Yes good point. I suspect the others may not be far behind the one in the picture. I am not sure when and if they have been replaced before?
