They're a solid piece of steel so will offer the best rigidity opposed to alloy or carbon that's hinged. My question is, isn't the front end of the 997 identical to the 987? Surely a 997 one would fit? The front end is identical? The same as the fact that the standard fir OEM dome braces from the 996 and 997 fit? I may just chance it and order one.
