Boxste74 Posted June 4, 2021 Report Share Posted June 4, 2021 My 2000 986 came from the factory with the multifunction computer, the stalk is there but nothing changes on the dash when I operate it, would be nice to get it working again. Bradders59 Posted June 5, 2021 Report Share Posted June 5, 2021 Start with the basics. Is the wiring plugged in ? Is the appropriate fuse in place and in one piece. When I got my car few months ago it had a new speed sensor supplied because the speedo didnt work and the ABS light was on. The fault was actually a blown fuse. I got an hour this afternoon and plugged the car in, when I’m in instruments I can operate the lever and see it switching on the diagnostics but nothing changes on the dash, however if I pull it towards me it will reset the mileage trip.
