James Oxon
Hi, new to the forum and am looking at my first boxter or cayman purchase. Sure this has been covered at length but couldn't see it easily. How easy is it to fit 2 sets of clubs in the cars? standard carry bags not tour bags. As an aside anyone know of a good place to get whatever I end up purchasing wrapped? Don't worry not planning anything gaudy just think it protects the paint work well and gives a slightly unique colour to them. Thanks in advance. 2001pt
Welcome 😀 Easy, put the roof down & strap them in to the front seats! Location would help for your second question, at least if you want a sensible answer 🤣 Edited June 21, 2021 by 2001pt
James Oxon
apologies, based in Oxford. Whilst dumping the clubs on the front seat is the most obvious option I'm not sure my dear friend who golfs with me is up for that 😄
penrhos
Used to get 2 (smallish bags) in the 986 with the woods by passengers side. Can only fit 1 modern carry bag in the 987 but woods go in boot as well. Never tried 987 Cayman but it was a real struggle getting even 1 bag in 981 Cayman and passenger seat had to be utilised. If you want to travel regularly with another golfer suggest you consider different car🤔. Good luck.
mike597
I can fit my trolley bag in the 986 boot with driver / long irons laid on top. I think two carry bags would go but it would be a bit of a squeeze. Frunk fits a folded trolley easily.
Mattman42
perhaps you need one of these? http://birdautomotive2.com/golfbagcarrier-luggagerack.html
