Going over the recommended service interval

The service warning now says 'Service due in 12 days'. Precision Porsche can't fit me in until early September and advise me there are no consequences for being a month late. (Not true with girlfriends IIRC).

I did change the oil mid way, so I'm guessing it's okay to delay. Any contrary views?

If you changed the oil mid way, what will they be doing at the service? If none of the other service tems are critical, then you have your answer that it’s okay to delay.

You could also either buy a code reader and reset the service light yourself or see if a local member could do it for you.
