Terryg
I filled up with fuel last week and the gauges took about 15 to 20 minutes to register the fill up. Anyone else seen this?
Terryg
I guess that's a 'no' then.
Paul P
Not being the usual “pedant” but when you say “filled up” did you actually fill up? reason for asking is if the tank is very low then it takes a fair amount of fuel to register again. A couple a gallons isn’t enough, more like quarter to half a tank. So I am thinking if you put say 15 quids worth in from nearly empty then it may not have been enough - until it got warm and expanded - borderline condition. that’s said, and assuming you did fill it then “nope. That’s not normal and you would probably be needing to look at the fuel level sensor in the tank to see if it’s sticking”
Terryg
Yeah, I had a longish journey so I filled it up until the pump shut off. My 986 had issues with the gauge also, maybe its me!
