How long did it take you? The bulge I’m not sure about as mine 987 wheel does have a bulge I ordered without I don’t know if they supply the bulge. I have a friend who made a new red leather cover for the steering wheel in his 928. He took the old cover off and used it as a pattern to cut the new one, then stitched it on. He's a practical and careful type but the end result is every bit as good as any professional job I've ever seen.
