Daboy3000
Am i stupid for thinking that cheaper coil packs will be ok? Thinking of Design911's budget line, £70 cheaper than Beru. Any thoughts or experience? Best source to buy from?
½cwt
Buy cheap, fit twice? There are 2 Beru options that work, their part numbers ZS177 and ZS178, use the best priced of the two. They come with bolts so doesn't matter which type, deep shoulder with long bolt or shallow shoulder with short bolt, you have to start with. Edited April 27, 2023 by ½cwt Updated part numbers
Fat Rat
Bought the Beru with plugs from AUTODOC when they had a good discount going. Had a few other service items as well. Yet to fit, but all looks good. 🤙🏻
999mch
I have just had a look on autodoc (the app) and the ZS178 are £20.10 each but it says it is not compatible with my 2000 2.7, which is a shame as the ZS177 is £62.87 and out of stock. prices with 27% discount

And when you pick either to up to 03 or 03 onward (997 602 104 04) 6 pack options D911 offer, you get the same part which is the cheaper Beru part number ZS178. D911 wouldn't be doing that if they were not 100% compatible. I will probably be changing my coils later (some fracturing of out casings noted on 4 of them at last service) this year and will be getting ZS178s for my 2000 3.2. Saving nearly £100 on even the D911 price.
