Meridianmet
As per the title, will they fit without spacers, and will the ride be rubbish? Anyone on here who has put them? Thanks.
½cwt
My advice is - Don't. They were never fitted from the factory and the profile of the tyres will be very low to keep the rolling radius similar to the standard 16, 17 and 18 sizes. Even the 18 rims are a noticeably harder ride than the 16 and 17s. It would be a lot of money to spend and find you don't like it.
Menoporsche
Over the years, a very few people here have fitted 19in wheels to the 986. I don't know about spacers. They made the decision that the improvement in looks (and increased cost of tyres!) outweighed the negative impact on ride quality. Very few though. GmanB
I've seen 19s on a 986 and they make it look hideous in my opinion. They just don't look right. Paul1962 put a set on his.
