2bmws Posted June 9, 2023 Report Share Posted June 9, 2023 Hi hope your all well. Got a handbrake question today I have the 2.7 tiptronic boxster and have mot coming up. Since owning the car the handbrake has a lot of travel, and I find when I take it off to use the car I can hear the handbrake scuffing, if I pull the handbrake half way up and release then the handbrake stops scuffing. ½cwt Posted June 9, 2023 Report Share Posted June 9, 2023 (edited) There are 2 adjustments, one to the cable under the centre console under the storage box. Otherwise there is a crown wheel adjuster in each wheel hub that is accessible through a wheel bolt hole at just off top dead centre of the hub.
