mr.tourette23
Not sure what's happened here, I'm in the process of fitting a underseat sub, I've disconnected the battery as I'm getting a live feed, it's been disconnected about an hour but when I've reconnected it the car won't start, there's power to lights etc, clocks are lit up and key turns but there's nothing there, it's like it's immobilised. Any clues from the collective.. Never come across anything like this before on any other car?
Carmine
Is the terminal fully seated and tighten down? Try locking and unlocking the car?
greenman986s
What did you wire the sub into?
mr.tourette23
Thanks for the replies, Panic over, Id found a 10 amp feed and piggybacked off it without actually checking what it was other than a switched live, Id disconnected it at some point during the install, turns out its for the electric steering column lock so critical to actually getting the car started.. Im off to a quiet corner with my dunce cap on 😳
