RalphyBMW
Odd question, I’m rebuilding my radiator supports and I can recall how / where the resistor brackets clip on. Any steer gratefully received! TIA
phazed
When you’re down the front end,, if you find my temperature sensor, which seems to be the only thing missing after I put everything together on my car, let me know 🙃 sorry, I can’t help.
½cwt
They sit on the bottom of the rad bracket. Can't see any retaining clips or locators in the parts cat for the resistor itself, but there are two clips on the diagonal part of the bracket which are cable holder, I guess for the fan and resistor loom. I'd cable tie them up as high as you can to protect them from water.
RalphyBMW
There’s a little metal bracket that clamps on to the resistor and clips onto the frame. Just trying to work out where it clips on - took pics of the breather clips (which I later spotted have specific recesses), but didn’t bother with the resistor clip jobbies. Reckon I’ve got a steer from the FB group.
