Coding of auto rain sensor - OPC only?

Anyone know for sure whether a specialist can code this without recourse to OPC? Trying to get this done on my newly purchased 981.  The specialist wasn't sure whether this might only be doable by OPC via link to Germany.

Nice YouTube video shows how to do it using PIWIS.  Start at 6mins in if you wish. I would like to active this and also programme the auto start stop off as well.  But I cannot find a PIWIS guru near me.

Anyone with a PIWIS tester can do it. It doesn't need an activation code. The simple way is to just code it in the front control unit.

Great, thanks Richard.  Should have realised you would know!

Ah, now I remember where I got the idea in the first place!

I did my rain sensing wipers myself, but had all sorts of issues when I tried to code the start stop to default off. Managed to kill my AC module temporarily, and fry my Bose amp (amp might have been coincidence)!! Not sure if it was user error, or the fact I'm using an unofficial PIWIS with a VAS 6154 clone. Needless to say I have been reluctant to play any more!!

Rain sensor wipers are only coded in the front control module, whereas stop/start is coded in several modules. Hence why it is best to edit the vehicle data and do automatic coding for stop/start, as shown in Jeff's YouTube video.
