Added a bit of colour to the sides...

I still like the look of those red decals on that 911 on the first page, so I've bought some and put them on to see what it's like. I quite like the look, but if I change my mind they come off easily and they were only 60 quid so no harm done.

Panic over, put it on the straight and it only needed a little bit to get below the max line again.
Probably overreacted a bit, but had coolant issues with the Jag for a few years and spend a fortune on getting it sorted with the last bill being over 2.5 grand so don't like coolant issues... 😁

Just decided to check the coolant level after buying the car 2 weeks ago and having been for a couple little blasts in this hot weather this week, and I noticed it's very low 😱
My car is parked on my drive, which is on a bit of a slope, not sure if that makes much difference in this cars....
Temp has been normal on the dials, and not had any warning lights, but obviously need to top this up straight away before driving it again. What's the best coolant people use for these cars ? And how much will it take roughly when it's this low ?

With such poor attendance, they have to be making their money on confectionary sales. I hope you went large on the popcorn!
These were taken not long after we got there, a bit early. I'd say there were about 16 to 18 cars in the end.

Roof down, popcorn and m&'s at hand, blanket for the wife, and watched a film at the local outdoor cinema.
Bonus points for who can guess the film...

I like that too. I fancy one but it's a bit moot given i'd never see it!
We can meet up and take turns driving in front of each other! 😄

And after seeing the Porsche spoiler sticker I've decided to give that a go as well, and quite like it, so think that's staying for now.

Added a Pistonheads sticker, I've been a member for over 14 years and have made some great friends through it, attending various car events. I've got a one on all cars so the Boxster had to join in as well.

Also quite liked that! So have given it a go as well :
Initially thought I probably should have put it a bit lower, but it's actually still visible if you're driving behind it, as I found out by sitting in the wife's car that's parked behind mine in the garage 😄

Side details on this car. Might look familiar @Mattman42
I'm still making up my mind if I want to do this, but must admit I do like that look!
Have you got any more pictures by any chance?

Fancy floor, pics and badges on the wall....you're really getting into it now!
Yea I didn't like the bare walls so I've put up some photo's of previously owned cars, and I'd also put some car badges of current and previous cars along that cable runner on the wall, so adding the Boxster logo just seemed right 😄

Are you going to keep the boxster s badge? I’d be interested in buying it off you if it came off in one piece.
It's gone on the garage wall as decoration I'm afraid... -
And I've changed this Xmas present LED board that's been sitting in the lounge with the message "COVID-19 WTF??" to this :
I wonder how long until the wife notices I changed it... 😄- 2

I basically went for the straight version and didn't follow the curve of the boot lid edge.
It's down to personal preference.
play around with the cutout until you're happy
Yours are on straight?? I thought they were at a slight curve as well.. 😲
Looking at the photos in this thread I prefer your look over that of the one that follows the curve of the boot, but I thought you had done the opposite, as in a slight upside down curve, and that's what I was trying to figure out how to do! 🤣🤣
But if yours are on straight I've been making this extra difficult for myself for nothing 🤣

@Medic-one Small steps... any Porsche paranoia about premature failures kicking in yet? 😄
There was some white smoke from the exhaust when i started it today to move it about on the drive, but I'm sure i read somewhere on here that's quite normal (i hope)... 😄 -

Used credit card for spacing from bottom edge. Just have a play and see what you like.
I did try that, but I think your angle is the opposite of Pinewoods which is what I'm trying to copy, and I don't think that the credit card trick works with his as they're angled the opposite way of the boot line.

cardboard cutout as shown by @red rocket
without one you will be measuring and double guessing
So I've got the letters, and there's in this cutout, but this is obviously straight :
I've taken the Boxster badge off, ready to put them on :
How did you get the curve on yours, like in your picture above ? Did you stick the 'S' first, and then the two groups of 3 letters each side in one go, slightly downwards, or did you then do each individual letter trying to maintain the angle ? -
First full day of ownership, after picking her up yesterday afternoon.
I've tried and see if she actually fits in my narrow garage, which fortunately she does!
And I've taken the rear badge off, in preparation for the new PORSCHE letters I wanna put on the back :

Anyone fitted side decals ?

I did get mine from Designstuffonline. Asked a few questions via facebook messenger first which were quickly replied to, and after ordering the decals arrived after a few days.
I went for these ones, which are not the Boxster ones, but the "Porsche Cayman (987) 'Cayman R' style Side Stripe Decals" which are £ 60,
