mxm1275
Evening all, I've just bought a pair of replacement EPS front control tuning fork arms (from Design911). I'm fitting them as my existing ones clonk and rattle when warm (especially) and the price isn't much more than the standard item. Has anyone else ever fitted a pair of these? Good results? edc
Are these imported from the US? Have a look on the American forums as I seem to recall some bad reviews.
mxm1275
Yep, my thinking is though that the standard ones are guaranteed for 2 years...and they always fail. Well mine have. http://www.design911.com/Control-Arm-Rear-and-Front-Porsche-986---996---997-GT3-Motorsport-Version/prod5220/

mxm1275
It's been a few months since fitting the new arms and I can confirm that I've not experienced any issues nor any noise. I've covered about 3K miles with nothing bad to report. Worth the money for no clunking noise!
cj225
I'm sure someone else had some on here no so long ago, and complained about the noise? Creaking or squeaking perhaps. Seem to remember it being a cautionary tale. Interesting to see if they last well enough.
