neilnitro
After my car not being used for a few months ( 2.7 boxster year 2000 ) the stereo (cdr22 with cd changer) works until you turn ignition to start engine then it turns off, sometimes comes on eventually, maybe 25 -30 minutes later ), as soon as I get in car next time same thing. I took stereo out and checked connectors ,but no difference, not sure we're to check or resolve, anybody help, not sure of any ground positions or earth I could check, but need to resolve my music. All ideas and help appreciated.
Araf
As the ignition is making the difference, I have a feeling it is the ignition switch, and not related to the layup. Have a look around here, as it's a well documented fault that often affects the lights. IIRC it's a git of a job to change, and needs three hands behind the dash. It can also be replaced with an Audi part which is a lot cheaper. Good luck.
