runner Posted November 10, 2016 Report Share Posted November 10, 2016 Hi T24RES, I did some research on this for myself previously and in the end, most said that it's more marketing bumph than reality ... whilst it does let more air into the engine, it also allows more dirt into the engine ... stats say that it doesn't make enough difference to warrant having it done. mrbikerdood Posted November 11, 2016 Report Share Posted November 11, 2016 BMC filters are , in my opinion much better -I once had a k&n on my fireblade.. wasn't that much cop,changed to BMC and a better improvement on the dyno - BMC filters are twice the price of K&N though. I'VE used BMC filters in my 2.7 & 3.2s and you can definitely notice the difference in the induction noise,cheapest I've seen them for are on fleabay from a company in Germany Si Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
