CMA
Does the 981 manual clutch use the ame hydraulic fluid resevior as the brakes? I thought it did but contacted the OPC asking if they shared the same resevoir and they replied with: "They are separate systems and there is no set time schedule to replace the clutch oil"
Greenman
If you look at the WSM you can see there is an extra maintenance item at 12 years to replace PDK clutch fluid, but no such similar requirement for manual transmission. Searching the doc almost every entry refers to PDK and none for Manual. Are you having clutch issues?
CMA
The manual one is hydraulic and actuated from the pedal and as there is only one obvious reservoir under the bonnet I just question why the OPC tell me it's a separate system. So if they are going to try and charge me £95 for changing brake fluid then surely that should include the clutch fluid at the same time as its the same fluid. Otherwise there is a risk of cross contaminating old and new fluid.
Greenman
Well maybe the clutch is some kind is sealed system that does not need changing as it cannot absorb water?
