Cleaned my PCM buttons yesterday. Fair bit of Fairy, fingernails and a nailbrush. Much nicer now.

Note - the two spindles are slightly different diameters, so don't try forcing one of the buttons back on after   That was close...

You can buy new round buttons for the pcm to replace the sticky ones. I think they are about £15 each

https://www.frazerpart.com/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=pcm&PN=Porsche-987-997-radio-selection-control-knob-button-Right-hand-side-.html#SID=141 is a link to new ones at a decent price.  Don't do the daft thing and look on eBay like i did... they are about £35 if you go that route!

I have a button that has a shock absorber icon where yours has SPORT

What I does this do

PASM button,as yours, on right

They just move them along if the car didnt have the shocks. the sport button is for Sport Chrono. if you dont have sport chrono but have the loud exhaust you get the exhaust button so Im told.
