edc
I did plenty to both of mine. First one in members rides 'blue Boxster on sport classic IIs' 2nd one in running reports for my 550 Anniversary. Photos, mods, maintenance costs all in there. Darkstar
I have a similar list to yourself but first I want to drive it and make sure it is a keeper. Little point splashing cash on a car I might only keep for a year. Things look good so far as instead of driving the 1 mile to Aldi to buy dinner I drove 30 miles in the wet. Hee hee back end fun in wet. ?
Terryg
Welcome, this is good advice, not that I followed it 1 hour ago, Darkstar said: I have a similar list to yourself but first I want to drive it and make sure it is a keeper. Nobbie
Definitely get out and enjoy the car for a few weeks before the weather turns worse. You may pickup some maintenance items that need attending to which are higher priority than cosmetic stuff.
big mike
I did everything you have there also roof refurn.plan for a lot more time than you think(and cost) I would say circa £4-500. I then did service, replaced pipework, header tank, coolant flush, tca, coffin arms, brakes, plugs, ims checked along with everything else given once over. This took a bit of time and cost me circa £2k so just do bits at a time
Southy
Check and clear the water drain holes don't assume the previous owner did.

Chipps
I've had my 986 S since June - decent looking car with history, but I was expecting to do a bit of fixing here and there. So far I've driven it and polished it and that's about it! I have a few things on my list - the door motors clonk at full travel, the door bonger goes off if the driver's door is open and the roof doesn't always fit perfectly in the channels. That's about it... I'm going to book it in for a major service soon and see what the experts tell me...

Darkstar
May be he means the door bonger goes off if the drivers door is open when the lights are off.
