MH82
Hi hope you can help. driving along I have suddenly got smoke/steam coming from the front near side vent (underneath the fog light). i went through a large puddle earlier and wonder if it could be that. Seems to be worse in traffic. Doesn't really smell and nothing seems particularly hot. thoughts? As wife and I are currently pulled over at the side of the road
Boxstercol
Could be excess water from puddle on radiator 'boiling' off, however more likely to be a pin hole leak in your radiator. Have you checked the coolant level to see if you've lost coolant? Be careful if you do this with the engine hot...
Jason986S
Mine had steam from around the drivers headlight area. Was pin holes in the radiator that side. A new branded one was little over £130 + coolant + fitting at a notmal garage.
MH82
It's abated and was fine on the way home so going to assume steam from the puddle for now, but will check the coolant tomorrow as well thanks for your help
