JohnnyUK
Spot on. I changed the front coffins and the trailing arms all round... Plus anti roll bushes... All now much tighter and no clunks. People swap the link arms on the anti roll bars... But this can be a pig! You will need to get the wheel geo done after as it was amazing how much it altered! Deffo a job worth doing and all fairly simple on axle stands.

edc
Where is the noise coming from? Does it sound like snooker balls? If from the rear then that's the classic sound of knackered tuning forks.
Nellyans
Spot on yes just on bad road surfaces...normal dual carriageway motorway good roads fine
JohnnyUK
DIY or will you use a garage? 21mm ring spanner with an extension and some heat gets you going... Had to cut through a chassis bolt on the front, it was seized into the coffin arm.

bally4563
Doesn't matter, will fit either end, just like bottom wishbones (coffin arms) Mick
edc
The rear tuning forks are longer than the front ones. They are different. For 986 the coffin arm or lower wishbone/control arm is the same all round.
