Rav Posted March 9, 2018 Report Share Posted March 9, 2018 All. Perfect day to take the boxster to work - or so i thought. Nice on the way there, pouring with rain en route home. I noticed that the intermitant wipers dont work as they should. The wiper stalk moves down to activate the intermitant mode. It was not pouring with rain, but enough to warrant wipers, so i put on the intermitant setting. The rain gradually got worse, so i turned the dial on the right hand side of the radio expecting the frequency of the wipers to increase or decrease. But nothing, no change that I could detect. I doubt that a variable resistor can fail, so what else could? I notice various relays for sale on ebay - could it be one of these? How intermitant is the wiper intermitantcy?
