Should the little plastic tube connect into something else or is it simply to direct the water into the metal body drain basin (which I assume drains into the long tube) ? Boxob Posted June 9, 2018 Report Share Posted June 9, 2018 On my car (1998 2.5) a white tube of about 20mm O/D is push fitted to the foam membrane in the corners near the doors. The driver's side tube had been pushed beyond the membrane (I suspect by cleaning the tube) so I retrieved it with a finger, pulled it back through the membrane by about a centimetre, put some adhesive around the top of the tube then pushed it back level with the membrane.
