toplad
Had a play today with the Speed logic app. The best 0-60 time I could achieve was 6.34 seconds which seems a bit cr*p. I'm not sure my technique was brill, getting a bit of axle tramp Anybody else tried lunching it and what times did you get?
rowbos
Does the app self trigger the start when you launch? I keep meaning to try out my launch control and these hot sticky conditions might be ideal ?
toplad
Hi Yes, it self triggers. My mates S3 does it in 3.8 seconds ?
rowbos
Can't get that on Apple, I have just purchased (at the hideously expensive price of £1.99) TrackStats - I will have a go myself when I get chance this week...

I know, what a lovely straight road, I spend some time every day regretting my slow crawl out of that castle, I'm too polite for my own good sometimes

rowbos
I can think of a couple of local places I could try a 0-60 run legally, straight, smooth and not too busy
thanatoid
Most phone apps appear to be GPS based which has a delay, I don't know if having the delay at start and hitting 60 would in any way cancel out, but watching gps speed on a recently installed dashcam seems awfully laggy... Mind you, also read https://www.thrillist.com/cars/nation/car-mph-acceleration-speed-meaningless which appears to cast doubts about the whole thing :-) Especially interested as about to have the 535d remapped, stock mine claims 5.8 on the 299bhp, the remap will got to 380.... It's close enough to be useful
