andyrwhite Posted August 21, 2018 Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 My wife's key that hasn't been used for a long time doesn't work on the remote function. Red light on the key is flashing when you press the button but won't open the door. It works in the lock manually and sets the alarm. I know this has come up before but my Search just mentioned the lock trick to try and wake it up, key in lock vertical, turn key, back to vertical etc but that didn't work. Pinewood Posted August 21, 2018 Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 doesn't help the OP, but it's for this reason I make it a point to swap keys and use spares for all our cars (once a week/10 days).
